INNOMINATO STRINGS

Innominato Strings is a community orchestra for adults 18 and over based in Sydney, NSW. We are a string orchestra comprising of Violins 1 & 2, Viola, Cello and Bass sections. The orchestra has been in continuous operation since 2004 and has grown over that time to around 80 members. We rehearse weekly and perform a concert twice a year.
Our repetoire ranges from early baroque pieces, through classical favourites to modern day rock and pop. Above all our aim is to enjoy playing together and make new friends

TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT & CELEBRATIONS
Celebrating two decades of music-making, the 20th Anniversary Concert of Innominato Strings will be held on 1 November 2026 at The King’s School, Parramatta. This special event will showcase a memorable selection of works performed by the orchestra throughout its 20-year history, reflecting the ensemble’s growth, versatility, and community spirit. The audience will also enjoy audio-visual presentations highlighting memorable performances, milestones, and the people who have shaped the orchestra over the years. Following the concert, guests are invited to join the celebrations at an after-party, providing an opportunity for players, supporters, and friends to reconnect and celebrate this significant milestone together.
JAMES MILSON VILLAGE
Our players returned to James Milson Village in North Sydney this December for a second consecutive year of Christmas music-making. Following the success of last year’s visit, the residents again enjoyed a program of popular carols, singing along with great enthusiasm. Solos by several members were a highlight and warmly received. It was wonderful to again bring live music back to the residents of this well respected aged care facility and this year’s concert was every bit as successful and uplifting as the first.
